What this site collects
Short version: I use the information you submit to send what you ask for or prepare for our call. No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.
Last updated 2 October 2026.
What I collect
Newsletter and guide signup forms collect your email address and, where requested, your first name.
Signup forms also record which page you signed up from, so I know whether you came from a talk, the job board or the newsletter. That is a label on your record, not a profile of your browsing.
The fit-call form collects your name, email, professional background, job-search stage, biggest obstacle, investment range, and attendance confirmation. Your LinkedIn profile and current compensation range are required. These answers are saved in a private Notion database so I can prepare for our conversation and assess whether working together makes sense. Completing this form does not subscribe you to the email list.
What I do not collect
- No analytics. This site runs no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, nothing.
- No tracking or advertising pixels, and no retargeting.
- No cookies set by this site. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No payment details. This site never takes payments. Skool and Maven handle their own checkout.
Who processes it
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores the email list and sends the emails. Your address lives there.
- Cloudflare hosts and serves the site, processes form submissions, and keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. The fit-call service stores submission identifiers and protected fingerprints to prevent duplicates and limit abuse; this bookkeeping does not contain your answers or raw IP address.
- Notion stores fit-call answers privately. After your answers are saved, Notion Calendar handles the time selection and booking details you enter there.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the request your browser makes for them.
Links out to Skool, Maven, LinkedIn, O’Reilly or an employer’s job page take you to companies with their own policies. Once you leave this site, theirs apply.
What I do with your email
I send what you signed up for: the guide, the job board digest, or the email series about the role. Occasionally I mention the community, the book or a talk. I do not sell, rent or share the list with anyone.
Getting out, or getting removed
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, which takes effect immediately. If you want your record deleted outright, rather than just unsubscribed, email [email protected] and I will delete it and confirm. You can also ask what is stored about you, and I will send it.
The job board
The board reads publicly posted roles from companies’ own careers pages and links straight to them. Browsing it collects nothing and requires no account.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to [email protected].
